Winter 2008

Dear partners in damage to the kingdom of darkness,

I just returned from a fruitful and exhausting trip to Patagonia, Argentina. I arrived in Argentina back in mid November. On the trip there, I sat behind Claudio Freidzon, whose ministry fills stadiums throughout Argentina and the world. He was scheduled to say a quick ‘hello’ to me in Australia, eight months earlier, but the meeting never happened. God did one better and put together a one in a million chance meeting with him that would never have occurred if I would have used my logic instead of His leading in my seat assignment. I am reminded constantly to let Him direct my path. Incredible coincidences continued to happen throughout this trip.

Shortly after I arrived, I was blessed to spend a few days in Buenos Aires (BA) with my sister and brother-in-law, who are the owners of the condominium that is used as our base. Ed Araiza arrived 2 days after my sister and her husband left for the US. The day before Ed and I left BA, everything seemed to go wrong including a first time attempted robbery at my house in Phoenix. God used my brave neighbor Betty to stop that crime. I have learned to rejoice when I see the enemy hitting hard. On Dec. 2, Ed and I flew to the capital city of Rio Gallegos in the Province of Santa Cruz in Patagonia (southern Argentina).

Ivan Vargas, our contact from southern Argentina, met us there and traveled with us to Rio Turbio, a city on the border of Argentina and Chile. We ministered in Rio Turbio that night even though we were quite tired. It was a smaller group that night but the next night it was completely packed because people saw what the Spirit of God had done the night before. Several pastors from this city, and the city nearby, were there and many imgFlagswere touched. We went into the city of 28 de Noviembre the next day and, afterwards, they presented us with the flags of the city of 28 de Noviembre and province of Santa Cruz. We traveled next to the port city of Santa Cruz, where we were hosted by our old friends, Hector and Mirta. In Piedra Buena, our base in the south, pastors Javier and Margot were wonderful hosts as we ministered there on Sunday and Monday night. Heading north, we stopped at Puerto San Julian where we ministered at a beachside civic hall for 2 nights. Several head pastors and their people showed up. There was a tremendous presence of God touching many, quite visibly, as the Lord made good on His promise to bless His church when the brothers and sisters dwell in unity.

We left Puerto San Julian by bus at 2:30 AM Thursday morning and traveled 6 hours to Comodoro Rivadavia, in the next state to the north. Ivan left from there to return back home to his city of Sarmiento, as planned. Ed and I met up with contacts from there who traveled with us by bus to finish our trip in the beach resort city of Puerto Madryn. My voice was almost gone from a viral attack that following Sunday, but it got miraculously stronger as I preached the morning service to a much larger than expected crowd. As soon as people saw the first people that came up for prayer overwhelmed by the presence of God, everyone wanted prayer; I prayed for hundreds. imgPuertoMadrynThank you for covering and battling with us fellow warriors!

The overall message for this trip was that we need to be preparing the way for the soon coming King with specific messages focusing on taking authority over our cities, being spiritual fathers, having clear vision, and not settling for anything but God’s best. The Lord also gave us specific words for each city we passed through. In every city we heard pastors say that the things God had showed us that would be occurring in their cities and ministries when we last visited 2 – 4 years ago, has happened. Thank you, Lord!

We need to be praying as much for our principal contacts for these trips as for the field team. The pastor in Piedra Buena had plans to be our transport in most of Santa Cruz until his new vehicle was destroyed a week earlier in an accident. The day before we arrived in Puerto Madryn, the daughter of our hosts had exactly the same type of accident which killed her mother-in-law. Our enemy has no rules. Intercessors, thank you. Once again, I received some comforting and confirming words from several of you. I am honored that we are connected in Spirit and hope to get to be connected with you in the physical realm soon.

Thanks to all of you who are working as part of this body to expand the Kingdom of our Lord and Christ on earth. There are no further foreign ministry plans until our economic resources are replenished. All donations are tax deductible and will directly support the work the Lord leads me, in cooperation with this team, to do. If your company has a matching gift program, our Employer Identification Number is 04-3623802. Also, be sure to check it out on our newly revised website at www.amormi.org.

Have a peaceful time with friends and family as the future year becomes your present. With you in His work,
Greig

“And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous-to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” (Luke 1:17 NIV) We are the John the Baptist generation! He’s coming back soon!!

Fall 2008

Dear friends,

According to the Lord’s leading, I left once again for Australia at the end of July until mid-August to work more with some of the Christ following leaders in that country. I met with English and Spanish speaking small groups and we discussed the things that it appears that the Lord wants to do with the church right now. God gave me prophetic words to deliver to several people. We met with several pastors including Ben Houston, the son of Hillsong’s head pastor who is leading a great new and young fellowship. imgJosieBenGavinThey just began meeting at a Golf club that, unknown to us, happened to be located just a couple blocks from my mates’ Gavin and Josie’s apartment. They are shown here with Brian. Theirs is a model fellowship that grew from the roots up. Several small groups were planted in the northern beach towns of Sydney. After a time, they wanted a place to come together although they still consider their small groups, or as they call them ‘connect groups’, their prime fellowship. I like that name, ‘connect group’, because they truly are the connecting points for that net the Lord is weaving together as He brings His body together as one. The Lord wants us to look at our family and friends’ groups where we live as our primary fellowship…like Jesus did. That is why that fellowship is growing exponentially.

Another pastor couple, who I won’t name, a few years ago was led to start a coffee shop in a suburb in southern Sydney that has the highest Muslim population in Australia. A fellowship hall was connected in the back of the shop. Not much happened until they ripped out the pulpit and pews and turned the hall into a giant living room that doesn’t look anything like a church building. Several former Muslims in the community now come together there in the Holy Spirit of Christ; I had a great visit with them! It is wonderful to see the new things our family is doing ‘down under.’

At the end of August, Ed Araiza and I traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina where we met uimgLimap with our friend Ivan from Patagonia to go on a heavily scheduled trip to Peru. Ivan did not have his passport in order so instead of 3 of us, Ed and I took on the full load of that heavy schedule. It was an incredible trip filled with the power and favor of God. Thank you Lord! On arrival, I immediately preached for 3 straight days to multiple church groups in a big tent evangelistic type meeting that lasted through Saturday night. Several people came off the streets into the meetings out of curiosity because of the people they saw being touched by God inside.

Sunday morning they flew Ed and I from Lima to Tarapoto, a city of about ½ million people on the east side of the Andes Mountains at the beginning of jungles of northeast Peru. An hour after we landed, I was preaching to a large, and rapidly growing, church there. The pastor asked people to invite whoever they could for the next night. We believe all the new people that came that night came to the front to publicly proclaim they were surrendering their lives to Christ. After all this, I remembered that when I was in Australia, an anointed leader said to me that the Lord was telling him to pray that I would have the strength to preach 5 days in a row on the next trip. I thought to myself then, ‘I’m not going to let that happen’. Well, it did, it was the Lord’s plan, and He gave me the strength to do it!

imgMachuPicchuTuesday we hopped a plane from Tarapoto, via Lima, to Cusco, Peru. We were hosted by a pastor and seminary teacher there who showed us all around and connected us to other leaders for future work there. We were able to take a day to go to the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu and also see how the old Catholic church buildings of Cusco were built on the foundations of the altars to the Inca sun god.

We finished off our mission in Peru by ministering Friday, Saturday and 4 times at 4 different churches in Lima on Sunday. We ministered 12 times over 11 days; I really didn’t think that was possible, but thanks to a team of intercessors praying for us and God being faithful, He made it possible! To top it all off, everywhere we ministered, the response was, "Please come back as soon as the Lord allows."

We returned to Buenos Aires the next morning and Ed, who was a great help on this trip, flew back to the US 2 days later. I continued on in Buenos Aires taking care of a little condo business, meeting with contacts from other parts of Argentina, and planning our November/December trip to southern Argentina. We will be ministering in some previous locations and some new ones. Pray that we hear with pinpoint accuracy when, where, and to whom to go during that trip. imgCuscoGirl

We are still in greater than normal need of monetary help. All donations are tax deductible and will directly support the work the Lord leads me, in cooperation with this team, to do. If your company has a matching gift program, our Employer Identification Number is 04-3623802.

Thanks to all of you who are, in one way or another, working as part of this body to expand the Kingdom of our Lord and Christ on earth. Intercessors, thank you for praying the doors open and the paths straight. I hope I can meet with you real soon to discuss and discover what the Lord is leading us into next.

With you in His work, Greig

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Mathew 6:33)

Summer 2008

Dear friends,

I was in Argentina for the month of April getting the last things in order with our apartment base in Buenos Aires and connecting with some of our extended team there. While I was there, some massive fires broke out about 100 miles to the north and inundated the city of Buenos Aires with smoke for about 3 days. You could barely see to the other end of the block. It filled medical clinics and hospitals and shut down the local and international airports for a time. It was the largest wildfire disaster that Argentina had ever experienced. A letter was sent out to those on the intercessor list to pray against the smoke on the 3rd day. Weather forecasts said the wind was not expected to change direction for at least another 3 days. The next morning we woke to clear skies; the wind changed exactly 180 degrees overnight. I included some pictures to show the dramatic overnight change in the atmosphere. The Lord brought back to my mind the vision He had given me the day before I left to go to Buenos Aires of a bullet stopping in mid flight and turning the other direction. God was showing that He was turning the enemy’s bullets back on himself. Satan’s weapons come in many forms. I was reminded that I need to keep the prayer warriors informed unless I want to fight things in my own strength.

I have had a longer time away from the mission field than normal with the mandate to recharge and prepare things at home as I will be away much of the rest of the year. It has also been a time to reconnect and make connections with people who the Lord wants to use to make this ministry even more effective. One of my main themes while ministering is that God can do amazing things with a body all working in harmony. Bigger things require bigger and stronger bodies. The Lord is looking for His body to do bigger things than ever in these very last days prophetically. Working together, we will! At this time, it looks like the Lord is sending me back to Australia at the end of July to work with some of the Christ-following leaders in that country. The last trip was a connection-making trip. It appears that this time there will be more ministering to groups. Immediately following that, I believe I’ll be going back to our South American base in Argentina. From there I, with some of our colleagues in Argentina and possibly others from the US, will be going to minister in surrounding countries. It appears that one of those imgHighClearsurrounding countries may be Peru, a country we have never ministered in before. When plans are solidified, the schedules will be posted on our web page, amormi.org. Pray that we will know and be permitted to do exactly what God wants us to do, in the way it is to be done, when it is to be done, where it is to be done, our purpose in doing it, and how much to do!

Even being from another Kingdom, we still feel many of the effects of being based on colony earth. Because of the present economic downswing, this ministry has felt the economic effects as well. My job is not to ask for money, but I do have a mandate to humbly keep you informed. We can use some extra monetary help at this time. I’ll be the first to tell you not to send help if the Lord has another place for all your financial resources. But, if you get the OK to put some into this ministry, we will really appreciate it and use it according to the Holy Spirit’s direction. Here are some of the areas where contributions can be used. We have plans to revamp our web site or, as I call it, our virtual headquarters; this will cost $1,000. Funds are also used to help with transportation, lodging and aid to others as directed. While we always focus on being frugal, the average international 3-week trip costs an average of about $4,000. If you feel called to sponsor one of these specific areas or trips, please note it when you send your contribution and we will work to apply it as directed. It will free us up and make our work more efficient. I hope we can meet face to face sometime soon. With you in His work,

Greig

Spring 2008

Dear friends,

It was a successful 3 week inaugural trip to Sydney, Australia where the Lord sent Robert and me in mid January. Our friends, Gavin and Josie, were wonderful hosts, even img3sisterstaking me to the 3 Sisters view in the Blue Mountains outside Sydney for a day after Robert returned to the US. The 2 of them had just arrived back from being called to southern Spain where we met them last Fall. They did a valiant job of helping us out while still working on getting themselves settled back in Australia. We suspected we would check out the Hillsong ministries, famous for their worship music, before we left the country. But it turned out that Hillsong would become our principal connection.imgHillsong A helpful woman of God, named Tiani, was instrumental in getting us connected into Hillsong. We spent much time with Nelson, one of the Hillsong pastors. He and his wife Laura were leading multiple English and Spanish speaking fellowships. They are both from Argentina, where I have spent the most time, so we had lots to talk about. Hillsong has several campuses and extension fellowships in Sydney and throughout Australia and other parts of the world. Nelson was very nice to show us what goes on behind the scenes at Hillsong, Australia’s most well-known mega church. I was privileged to be given a front row seat to the most energetic, high-tech worship service I have ever attended.

We visited the fast growing Sydney North Beach fellowship and taped some of those wonderful Aussie accented voices that you can check out in the video section of our web site. We also were connected and spent some time with a 4 Square fellowship pastor. Our chief mission this trip seemed to be establishing friendships and ministering to some key leaders. It appears that the Lord has future plans for our ministry in Australia.

Most of March was spent in Spain working with our apostolic-evangelist friend, Pedro, in several parts of the region known as Andalucia, which is along the western Mediterranean cost. This is the same region where we spent time ministering last September, although in some new cities. After ministering in Granada, our base, we traveled with clothes and food that we left at a Muslim outreach, which Pedro is overseeing in Almeria. Some wonderful fellow American Christians hosted us in their home near there for several days. We are withholding names due to their sensitive ministry to Muslims in the area. We ministered to a fellowship whose primary outreach is to street people and drug addicts and prayed for several HIV positive people. We also were grateful to witness the Lord touching people again at the 4 Square congregation in Roquetas de Mar and did a radio program after ministering in another Almeria fellowship.

Traveling to the west, we stayed in a complex near Malaga, which we also need to withhold details on because of their mission not only to Arabs in Spain but also into North Africa. It is humbling to see what some people are risking to get the good news of the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ into Islamic strongholds. We imgDancertook a day trip to the North African Spanish city of Ceuta on the south side of the strait of Gibraltar, a base for ministry into Morocco. They don’t even carry cell phones into these parts for fear of being tracked by Arab leaders. Returning to Malaga, we ministered in 2 different Nigerian immigrant lead congregations during Easter week. This seemed to be a fulfillment of some prophetic words that Robert and I had been given.

On the last leg of our journey, we traveled northwest to the city of Huelva near the Portugal border, specifically Palos de la Frontera, from where Columbus started his journey to America in 1492. There we worked with the Apostle/Prophet team of Ricardo and Suzy Senna, who the Lord sent from Brazil in 1990. They are committed to help the body of Christ work in harmony as one church with many imgFlowerstasks. The Lord gave visions to 2 of their grandchildren confirming that the Lord had sent us. They received us as messengers sent by God, presenting flowers of peace to us. We discussed strongholds that the Lord revealed to them that exist in Spain, and then traveled to several sites with them praying and taking authority over strongholds in that area. The young daughter of a local pastor had been found murdered there 2 months earlier following a rash of child killings near an island that was used as a place of child sacrifice by the Phoenicians hundreds of years before. We prayed to break that curse and to lift the darkness. The killer was found and arrested the next day 300 miles away in our base city of Granada. Although there were people along the way receiving Christ as Savior, Spain is hard ground. The area where we were may be the hardest. This was a difficult trip. To those of you who were fighting for us on the spiritual front while there and after we returned, thank you!

I am leaving immediately for Argentina where I will be until the end of this month. I will be primarily around the Buenos Aires area checking on our base and talking to contacts in Argentina. Please pray that the Lord will open doors and release blessings for Luis and Marta Guzman, who recently moved 800 miles south from their former home as my neighbors in Buenos Aires. They have been a great help to us in setting up our Argentina base. Also, pray for Ivan and Rosana who are our principal ministerial contacts in southern Argentina. Please pray for my productive time in Argentina and for clear understanding of where and what our Lord wants this ministry to move into next.

Thanks to all of you who are, in one way or another, working as part of this body to expand the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ on earth. Funds are always needed to help with transportation, lodging and aid to others as directed. All donations are tax deductible and will directly support the work the Lord leads me to do. If your company has a matching gift program, our Employer Identification Number is 04-3623802.

If you are sealed, you are blessed! Be exceedingly abundantly blessed, in Jesus the Messiah’s name,

Greig
