Finland Reports For September 2012

Dear friends,

Our flight was good and we made it to Kouvola Finland where we have been ministering to and connecting up with some wonderful people who want to be right in the middle of the new thing that the Lord is doing. Our meeting on Friday night was wonderful. They told us that the Lord sent us with exactly the direction they were praying to have clarified. They told us how the Lord supernaturally told them to start a network of house churches and said that we gave them more details of how to proceed with that and a strategic intercessory network. The Spirit of God gave us many words to deliver to individual people afterword.

Please intercede for us as led by the Lord. Kitos (Finish thank you) to all of you who have already been interceding. We have laid out our present planned schedule below. Almost all locations and people groups are new. Every time it seemed that something wasn’t working out, it ended up working out better than planned. Finland is 10 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight Time. We will keep you posted.

2nd Report Tuesday Sept. 18, 2012

Dear praying friends,

As prophecied, we have been dealing with person after person in these meeting who has been opressed by the enemy. The Finish people are very stoic but we have seen many dissolve in tears after we gave them the revelations about situations and past hurts they have experienced. Some who had been contemplating suicide. These are Christians. The great thing is that we have seen and had calls and reports back about feeling freed from their depression followed by joy and laughter. We have been continual giving the message about freedom from old structures in the body of Christ as a whole or in their personal lives that keep them from walking in the fullness of what the Lord has for them.

Our meeting Sunday night was so packed that there wasn’t enough chairs so people were sitting on the floor. It was nice to hear reports from people telling us that words we gave 3 years ago to people here have come to pass. This has opened several invitations for future meetings in new cities. Even though the people that live here don’t realize the changes that are slowly occuring in Finland, it is easy for us to see the transformation of this country that has occurred since Robert began coming here in 1989. Finland is truly being prepared as a last days strong base for the body of Christ.

We are leaving tonight for Joensu, a city about 3 hours from Kouvola where we are now. We may be entering into a more serious demonic area. We definitely are under attack which is understandable from the enemy’s perspective. Some of the people who have been freed up are major church leaders and intercessors. Starting the night of our first meeting, the most sleep that Robert has been able to get a night is 3 hours, sometimes as little as 1 hour. The amazing thing is that he seems to be functioning fairly well, so the Lord is empowering us. Thank you for your prayers!!

Please keep covering us, especially for our peace and safety. The words that you have received that Earl has passed on to us have been very accurate. Please continue passing on anything to us that you believe you should share with us. Thank you again for giving us air cover!!!! We should be able to get another report out within the next 3 days. 3rd Report Friday Sept. 21st

Dear air force,

Our Wednesday night meeting in Joensuu was great! Mainly because afterword, between each of us, the Lord gave us clear words for everyone during and after the meeting. As many meetings start in Finland, we felt like we weren’t going to be given any grace unless the Lord really did something….and He did. This was a very diverse crowd from many denominational backgrounds, even a Lutheran pastor was present. It went from stone faces to not very many dry eyes by the end of the night. We laid out what the Lord wants to do in the church from releasing everyone fully into their callings whatever their occupation, to how to form strategic intercessory teams. There was a reopening of things that have been closed. Barriers were broken down. Major times of refreshing came to dry places. The Lutheran pastor said that he very much wanted to do everything we were talking about and asked us to pray for his empowerment to carry it out and release those he pastors into their God appointed callings. The people would not go home that night until they received that one and last word from the Lord.

The man who put together the night in Joensuu, an advertising agency president who co-founded the Finland Christian TV station and Christian magazine, called today to say that he has had many calls and e-mails from people about how that meeting blessed them in one way or another. As the apostolic man we are now staying with said, “You guys don’t know how big this is for Finish people, who even keep great things inside, to be taking the time to write e-mails and call about how they were touched in that meeting”. Several of the people decided to travel the hour from Joensu to be in our meeting in Kitee last night, which was received very positively. The organizing pastor said if there is any way, he would love to have us do an interchurch conference here for 5 days and would be praying that the Lord would bring us back there. We got the same comments in Joensu and Kitee that ‘They have had many Americans come through ministering, but your message and ministry is so different and much more refreshing. There was life giving power in your words’.

So, we know this is all the Lord’s doing and He has responded to the prayers of agreement amongst all of you. PLEASE KEEP IT UP FOR 3 MORE DAYS. We having a meeting tonight at 6:30PM finland (8:30 AM US) time again in Kitee. Then an all afternoon-evening meeting Saturday in Tuupavarra. Sunday we travel back to Helsinki then fly out early Monday morning the 24th. This may be our last report from here but we’ll try to give a wrap up at the end.

Final Report (From the USA) Wed. Sept. 26, 2012

Dear Friends,

Our Friday night meeting in Kitee had twice as many people as the previous evening. Several people had come from Joensuu, an hour away, because they missed Wednesday night there but heard that is was worth coming to hear the message we are giving and experience His presence. He honored us with His presence in an even great way that the night before. The Lord responded in rapid fire succession giving words for us to give to individuals in the crowd. Before that, we spoke much on the need to bear fruit or be pushed aside by God in favor of those who will. And that the secret is to find out the new thing our Father is doing, where His cloud is for you, and be there. Several of our Finish brothers and sisters experienced inner healing as words were given as a catalyst for the Holy Spirit to start doing His miracualous work, unraveling possibly years of chains that the enemy has used to bind them.

We had a wonderful meeting in Tuupavarra with people from all over the area from many different church backgrounds. We discussed small groups and intercessory groups and how they could maximize their success by being places that they can experience a closer relationship with each other and with Jesus Christ. It was a nice relaxing way to end the trip. One of the guests there asked us to come with him into Romania and Russia because they desperately needed our message (since they are stuck much in tradition). We have many more invitations to come to places now than we ever could do, but we are grateful how the Lord has given us the tremendous favor that we seem to have after this trip. Of all of our past Finland trips, this has been the smoothest yet. Thank you for your air support intercessors!!!!

Sunday morning we began the 10 hour drive to Jyvaskyla to drop off Tuula our interpreter, then to Tampere to drop off our Tuupavarra host’s daughter, then finally Helsinki to stay the night at some new friends’ house. We flew out Monday morning at 8:00 AM Finland time (10 PM PDT) arriving in Eugene at 8:30PM Monday evening.(22.5 hours later).

We may not have been able to make it through the whole trip and definitely would not have experienced His power like we did without your intercession. Thanks for the confirming and edifying words that several of you sent. Thank you for your faithfulness to us and to our Lord. We look forward to seeing many of you soon.
