Spring/Summer 2013

Hi Friends,

Our family’s lives are on a more stable footing now that we’ve set down some new foundations after the passing of our earthly father and mother. I’m still juggling farm and family matters in Oregon while maintaining my Phoenix, Dallas and Buenos Aires bases. That’s hard for a more single focused mind like mine. I am single focused now on simplifying my life while concentrating on the Lord’s priorities.

Thank you for your continued prayers and words. I recently had a chance to look back over dreams and words that I and, even more, others received over the last year. My faith was fortified again by seeing how much our Father is in the midst of everything, knowing the end from the beginning.

On December 18, Ed Araiza and I flew to Buenos Aires where we spent 6 weeks. It’s always interesting being in the southern hemisphere over New Year where it’s summer time and Christmas is celebrated like Independence day in the USA. Of course cactus and palm trees in Phoenix over Christmas time is also still a little strange. The Lord really has created perfect timing for us concerning our apartment base in Argentina. Our long time renters there moved out just as we moved in and got another renter who moved in just as we moved out. Intercessors, you were praying for this. It could not have worked better…again.

During our extended Argentina trip, we spent time dealing with the usual apartment maintenance, upgrade, financial and government matters. We also met up with Argentina ministry partners and had conference calls with others. It was a needed break from the routine for me and a nice chance to do some reconnecting. We’ll be back there again for a couple weeks this June 12th until the end of the month.

In the US, I was able to take a few days from my other present responsibilities to go to Tacoma, WA in April to reunite and work with the intercessor team at the Continuant company where I spent time developing their corporate intercessor network over the last 3 years. I ended that week attending their all company meeting. The market research consultants they hired surveyed their customers who gave them ratings that ranked them among the US’s very top companies in customer satisfaction. Those are the results you get when you are a Spirit led Kingdom company!

I must give a big thank you to those who have helped support me financially. It has been tough not really having time to properly meet and communicate with ministry support partners. I know that it is less exciting to support a ministry that, for the time being, is not constantly going out on mission trips, but we still need to maintain our primary functions until we can really go full blast back out there on the international mission field again.
