The AMI mission team and board are being led by God to build a solid foundation to support His plan for ministry expansion.

Since its founding in 2002, AMI has operated on very modest resources, relied heavily on unpaid volunteers or underpaid staff and contractors to perform functions which would typically be part of a ministry’s budget and, often chose travel methods and accommodations which did not permit the team’s most effective field functioning.

The organization’s philosophy has been that if God has called us to minister somewhere, then we will plan to go and trust that He will make the resources available, which He has done.

However, we now hear God instructing us to plan and build for the future. This will require us to plan financially so that we may take action to enhance AMI’s basic infrastructure and refine methods of operation.

AMI’s board, staff and core intercessors have been seeking God’s direction to aid in planning where we should.

We seek general guidance to aid in planning such things as the number of expected mission trips each year, mission trip travel and accommodations planning, global and remote mission staffing needs, compensation philosophy and core support team requirements in areas such as communications, website development and maintenance, audio and video production and travel coordination.

While AMI doesn’t know the specific locations and timing of when the Spirit will call them to minister, we often have a general sense of certain areas where AMI is likely to be called.

Foundational planning and building, where possible, will position AMI to respond more quickly and efficiently to God’s direction.
