pageIs AMI sponsored by or accountable to any church or other recognized religious organization?
AMI is not officially affiliated with any one church or other organization.
Instead, there are some 100 core intercessors located around the world, representing multi-denominational church groups that send out and pray for our team.
God uses them and many others He calls, many we do not even know, to pave the way and fight the spiritual battle with us.
Before undertaking a mission trip, we seek the confirmation of God’s leading by others from AMI’s mission team, board, and or intercessors.
We believe it is part of God’s plan for us not to have any official denominational ties so that He may use us across His body to promote unity and to freely proclaim His biblical principles.
Do AMI’s team members have any formal ministry education or training?
Against their own plans, AMI’s team members have not been led by God to complete formal seminary training or obtain degrees in theology.
Each member of the AMI team has devoted themselves to the serious study and meditation of God’s word as illuminated to them through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The team believes and is committed to the biblical mandates.
All members of AMI have participated in many seminars or courses taught by anointed experienced teachers as the Lord has directed.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. [2 Timothy 2:15 NIV]
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. [John 14:26 NIV]
AMI’s team does recognize that the Lord calls many to complete formal study and training and uses them in powerful ways for His purposes as they are called.
We believe the Lord has brought us together for His work without having called any of us to first attend organized institutional religious or other theological training. Like the apostles, we must be dependent on the foundation of His word and on the Holy Spirit’s guidance and revelation.
How can I help this ministry?
Most importantly, you can pray. We are not only doing a job, but fighting a war. The weapons we use are spiritual, not carnal, as the battle is in the spirit.
Since we are battling in a material world, we also need financial support. Click on the Contact Info link in the menu to the left to find out how to support us.
How is this ministry directed?
We, as a group and as individuals, ask God our Father in Heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, for direction by the Holy Spirit. He has led us quite miraculously to the mission fields in which we are involved.
Is my donation tax deductible?
AMI is registered as a 501(c) 3 (non-profit) corporation. All donations are tax deductible in the United States.
A receipt will be sent to the provider for the amount of the gift.
If the gift is a non-cash donation, the value of the item will be estimated, and a receipt will be sent to the individual for that amount.
At this time, all donations go to help the mission efforts led by Greig Detering, or for whatever or whomever associated with this ministry that you would like your contribution to be specifically directed.
