Fellow Gate Stormers. After a week ministering in Dallas, TX in December, I spent the rest of December in Argentina ministering with Ivan and wife Rosanna (shown standing behind our Neuquen hosts), former pastors who now live in southern Argentina (Patagonia). This was the longest trip and the most places I have ministered in more than a decade.

We travelled between cities on some very long bus rides. I spoke at events in church buildings in cities located in the provinces of Santa Cruz, Chubut, and Neuquén. These are between 800-1300 miles south of Buenos Aires. But I also had more specific meetings detailing the Lord’s strategy with several apostolic and prophetic leaders associated with various mountains of society, primarily government, education, and business. We have several testimonies of how the Lord really touched people (like on the floor shaking and crying under the power of God touched) confirming the high call that HE has on them.

In January, I flew about 1100 miles north of Buenos Aires to the farthest northern province of Jujuy and worked with a pastor I had worked with in the province of Catamarca who is now overseeing several leaders there. I spoke in several meetings. But the highlight there was working with a consortium of pastors who meet in the capital city of San Salvador de Jujuy and concentrate on developing unity in the church. I shared the biblical structure the Lord showed me in 2004 that encourages unity. I encouraged them to leave behind the pastor centered model and recognize the apostles (foundation builders), especially in the business community, and also to encourage prophetic (strategizing) teams. They sent notice out following my meeting with them announcing to their team the new (biblical) model that they are now pursuing. The team leaders are shown with me below right.

When I returned to Phoenix in February, I received some fantastic reports on what has happened after my visit there. Certain people, who really got the revelation that they were called to make disciples in their various societal mountains have been lighting fires, especially in the southern provinces of Santa Cruz and Chubut. The prophetic word before the trip was that the wind of the Spirit in Argentina would be blowing from the south. Ivan and Rosanna are presently in a couple of those places helping them baptize many people, especially young people, who have been drawn by the Lord since my visit. Our King is setting the church free!

In the last newsletter, I mentioned Argentina’s presidential election was happening last November. The great news is that a complete outsider, a Jewish economist, was elected by a landslide. He is determined to rid the country of the socialism and other bureaucracy that has taken the country from an economy ranking of 10th in the World 70 years ago, to 143rd now.

Here is another encouraging report. When the Lord sent me to El Salvador for a year in 2000-2001, it was statistically the most dangerous place in all of the Americas. It has just been rated the 2nd safest country in the Americas, 2nd only to Canada. In their last election, the people, going outside of the 2 totally corrupt political parties, elected a young Christian businessman whom God has used to bring that country into righteous rule. It is fulfilling to see what the Lord has done with my and many others sowing at a critical time 20 years ago.

I am again back in Argentina for a month ministering especially in Patagonia while also doing some ministry via video meetings to places here and the USA. This present trip to Argentina and other locations, along with clear guidance and demonstrations by His Spirit, will need more resources because of the travel involved. My next stops will include planting again, as led, in Oregon and Texas.
